They defeated team KazChess in the final.

Team MGD1 are the new FIDE World Rapid Team Champions thanks to GMs Arjun Erigaisi, Pentala Harikrishna, David Anton Guijarro, Leon Luke Mendonca, Pranav V, IM Stavroula Tsolakidou, top scorer Atharvaa P Tayade, and team captain GM Srinath Narayanan! The World Team Championships continue with the first stage of the Blitz tournament at 13:00 UTC.
